I have owned many rifles in my hunting lifetime of 58 years. Some have shot better than others. I first come across HS Precision through a gunsmith who suggested that I get one of their stocks for my Remington 700 in .223. I was very pleased! I wanted to better my 300 Win Mag and decided to spend the money and get a real quality tack driver. This rifle is the real deal! I purchased it from Hendershots in Maryland and they shipped it to a local gun store. They also mounted my Zeiss scope with HS Precision tefflon coated rings. My rifle had an upgrade SVL pad. Honestly, if you get the SVL butt pad, you do not need muzzle break. The recoil is very manageable as the stock and pad are excellent. The factory grouping was 1/2" moa. I broke the riffle in with Hornady 180 grain SST and did the same 1/2" moa as the factory target. I also appreciated the break-in instructions! Was in Rapid City, SD for some business and did a tour of the plant and it is clear as to why these rifles perform so well. Attention to detail! Great Rifle! (Posted on 10/20/09)

I PURCHASED A .300 ULTRA MAG IN THE PRO-HUNTER LIGHTWEIGHT AND FROM THE FIRST TIME ON THE RANGE TO THE FIRST HUNTING TRIP WITH IT, I HAVE BEEN 100% AMAZED WITH THE ACCURACY OF THIS RIFLE. THE SMOOTH ACTION AND THE LIGHT FEEL IS LIKE NO OTHER RIFLE I HAVE EVER OWNED. I HAVE HAD MANY RIFLES AND I NEVER WAS SATISFIED WITH PERFORMANCE WITH ANY OF THEM DURING THE BREAK IN PERIOD. RIGHT OUT OF THE BOX THIS RIFLE WAS SHOOTING 1/4" GROUPS AT 100 YARDS. I COULDN'T BELIEVE IT. THANKS H-S FOR THE PERFECT WEAPON. (Posted on 9/1/09)
