My Pro 2000 in .338 with a muzzle brake has shot a .226 so far out the box
at 100 meters. First 5 rounds were .280 with 80g of retumbo and 250
Sierra MK's... Next 5 tightened up with 90g of retumbo to .226. This is with a Leopold MK IV. Will Mount a Nightforce 12x42x56 next week and see what we shall see.. Damm fine rifle so far, kick is ok... (Posted on 5/5/09)

I have less than 50 rounds through the rifle I purchased (308) so it is barely broken in. The rifle is extremely accurate. 3-shot groups of 1/2 MOA at 100 yards are common (using Nite Force 12x40-50 scope, set at 21x) It is a pleasure to shoot and a real eye catcher at the range. Prefers 175 to 180 grain projectiles. I'd recommmend this rifle to anyone. I do not reload - above with factory match ammunition. Is also very respectible with 150 grain low end ammo as well. I bought the HTR in 308 2 years ago and was amazed at it's performance at the range. The accuracy guarantee is for federal premium 168 gr, shooting sub-1/2 moa all day, but my rifle loves 175 gr. black hills. Groups that fit in a dime with room to spare at 100 yards. I took the HTR on my first black bear hunt in PA and killed a 250 pound male. This rifle is well worth the investment. I have confidently taken the rifle out to 650 yards hitting 4 inch targets or 250 pound black bears at 20 yards. The rifle always performs. (Posted on 4/14/09)

I purchased my HTR in 338LM about a year ago now. As I live way down in New Zealand I looked around a lot before making the choice but man was it the right one! This rifle has consistently out preformed all of my other rifles while operating faultlessly the entire time. Accuracy is unbelievable using appropriate components and has made a confirmed kill at 1507m (just short of a mile), regularly returning sub MOA hits at 1000m like they are nothing. I also would like to note that using Boretec eliminator the barrel cleans up easier then any of my other rifles as well. ithas gone shot for shot with a TRG42 (complete with more experienced shooter) and come out on top... although being able to sling the 300grn SMK's might have helped a bit ;)

I own many rifles, but the HS-Precision HTR Pro-Series 2000 rifle is by far the most accurate rifle I own. I just can't say enough good about this rifle. It is perfectly designed and perfectly functional. I'd put it up against any other precision tactical rifle in the world.

I purchased this HTR last summer and have shot in 6 matches in South Dakota
The caliber is .240wby, with 1/7 twist, 28 inch barrel with break
Accuracy at 100 yards with Berger 115 VLD bullets are under 1/4 inch
My best Accuracy at 600 yards with the 115 VLD was 2.4 inches, the wind always blows in SD
I am so impressed with this HTR that I have ordered another in 6.5/284
I have a PH takedown in 30-378 and .378 and they are unbelievable also
HS makes the most accurate and dependable rifles in the world
